41603 Sierra moonset at Sunrise

I had to go to this location four times before the right combination of the full moon setting behind the mountains around Sunrise was seen. This spot is at 9700 feet elevation in the Sierras. Three horizontal images were joined together to make this panorama. A very large print (24x60 inches) is now hanging above our fireplace and looks dramatic.
